Hong Kong police cracked a virtual coin fraud case, with 118 people losing 3.2 million HKD.

According to reports, the virtual coin investment eyewash from the mainland has developed to Hong Kong, with at least 118 people falling into the eyewash, resulting in a total loss of approximately 3.2 million HKD.

Hong Kong police revealed that on July 15, four locals were arrested for conspiracy to commit fraud. They are suspected of hosting promotional banquets for a mainland eyewash, recruiting victims and collecting fraud funds amounting to 3.89 million HKD, of which only a small amount has been withdrawn, while the remaining approximately 3.2 million HKD has yet to be recovered.
