According to Hash Rate News, Tornado Cash founder Roman Storm was convicted of conspiring to operate an unlicensed money transfer business, but the jury could not reach a consensus on the charges of money laundering and sanctions. The DeFi Education Fund and other organizations stated that they will continue to support Storm. The Blockchain Association urged Storm to appeal in a post on X and plans to refute the charges, calling them "nonsense." According to reporter Eleanor Terrett, Storm stated that he will "fight, fight, fight."
