Gate Alpha Point Reward System

To further strengthen the Gate Alpha ecosystem and enhance the user experience for event participation, the Gate Alpha Point Reward System was officially launched on July 29, 2025. This system now serves as the core metric for evaluating user eligibility in token generation events (TGEs), Alpha token airdrops, and other key ecosystem entitlements.

Definition and Core Use Cases of Points

• Definition of Points: Gate Alpha Points are an activity metric determined by user behaviors on the Gate platform and within the Alpha ecosystem, such as asset holdings and trading activity. The total points are calculated as the sum of daily points over the last 15 days.
• Core Function: Points directly impact users’ eligibility to participate in various Alpha Zone airdrops, TGE subscriptions, and limited-time promotions. The more points a user has, the greater their access to opportunities and benefits.

Point Calculation Rules

1. Balance Points

Only assets held within the Gate centralized exchange are included in the calculation, specifically:

• Tokens listed on Gate’s spot market
• Assets held in Alpha accounts (including tokens traded within the internal marketplace)

Tokens not listed in the Alpha Zone or unavailable for trading are excluded from point calculations. The system determines each day’s points based on the USD market value of eligible assets on that day.

1. Trading Volume Points

• Only purchase amounts in the Gate Alpha Select section are counted (sells are excluded)
• The first purchase each day of at least 2 USDT earns 1 point
• Each time the purchase amount doubles, users earn an additional point (e.g., 4 USDT earns 2 points, 8 USDT earns 3 points)

1. Special Points

Certain token events may award extra bonus points, subject to the specifics of each event announcement.

Snapshot and Update Schedule

• Daily Snapshot Time: Every day at 07:59:59 UTC+8, the system records both asset balances and purchase volume
• Update Time: By 14:00 UTC+8 each day, the system updates the total points for the latest 15-day period
• Example: Transactions made before 07:59:59 on April 23 are counted toward April 22 points; those after 08:00 count for April 23

How to Check Your Alpha Points

Currently, you can view points and claim airdrops in App version 7.14.0 or above:

Option 1: Go to the navigation menu and select [Alpha Points]

Option 2: Go to the order panel in the upper right corner and select [Alpha Points]

Option 3: Use the search function on the homepage to find [Alpha Points]

Redeem Points for Airdrop Rewards

• Points can be redeemed for airdrops, but users must claim rewards manually within the specified period
• If rewards are not claimed before the deadline, eligibility for that round will be forfeited
• Once you successfully claim your reward, the airdrop will be distributed to your Alpha account within one hour

Important Notes and Disclaimer

1. We completed point calculations before the system went live, and you can now view your points.
2. Only assets in the main account count toward points; assets in sub-accounts are consolidated into the main account for calculation
3. Points do not affect actual asset holdings, trading rights, or withdrawal privileges
4. Rules are subject to adjustment as needed for the ecosystem. Always refer to official Gate Alpha announcements for the latest information.
